          ⅠMaintenance Box, Power Box, and Lighting Box

          1、Overview

          1.1Main Purpose and Scope of Application
          The maintenance box, power box and lighting box are used in the AC 50Hz ~ 60Hz, 400/230V three-phase four-wire or three-phase five-wire circuit, serving as the maintenance, power or lighting power supply.

          1.2 Main Features
          (1) Adopt the high-quality stainless steel or cold-rolled plastic-spraying case, supporting indoor or outdoor installation, with the protection class of IP55.
          (2) Adopt the installation manner of wall-mounted or floor-standing.
          (3) Equipped with the high-protection-degree socket-outlet for industrial purposes as the output interface of the power source, which has the advantages of safety and convenient usage, especially suitable for the severe work environment.
          (4) Furnished with the master switch, providing with the overload, short-circuit and leakage protection function.
          (5) It can be fitted with AC 12V (or AC 24V, AC 36V) lighting transformers, adopting the special high-protection-degree socket-outlet for industrial purposes as the output interface, to prevent mixed interpolation with the AC 230V socket.

          1.3 This product is in compliance with the GB7251 "Low-Voltage Switchgear Assemblies" and other standards.

          2、Service Conditions
          2.1.Altitude: Not more than 4000m;
          2.2 Ambient temperature: -40 ℃ ~ + 65 ℃;
          2.3Relative humidity: Not more than 95% (25 ℃) ;
          2.4 Place of Installation: Free of chemical corrosive gas and vapor or explosive dust in the air;
          2.5 Grid frequency: 48 ~ 52Hz (50 Hz system), 58 ~ 62 Hz (60 Hz system);
          2.6 Applicable to indoor or outdoor;

          3、Main Technical Parameters

          3.1 Rated working frequency: 50Hz ~ 60Hz.
          3.2 Rated operating voltage of various circuits: AC 400V, 230V, and 12V.
          3.3 Rated current of various circuits: AC 160A, 100A, 32A, 25A, and 16A.
          3.4 Number of socket poles: 5-pole (3P + N + PE), 4-pole (3P + PE), 3-pole (1P + N + PE), and 2-pole (1P + N).


          4、Selection of Electrical Components

          The main components of the equipment are made of world famous brand products. For example, the circuit breakers adopt the products by ABB, greatly ensuring the reliability of the equipment. The outdoor lighting box is equipped with the light control switch, and its operation method is detailed in the Timer Switch User Manual.

          Ⅱ Packaging & Transportation

          When the product is packed, it should be placed on the base of the packing box and secured with bolts; the cabinet body should be covered with plastic film to prevent the dust or water vapor during transportation or storage; place of delivery, equipment name and shipping weight as well as other information should be clearly marked on the packing box; upon arrival, the goods should be unloaded with a forklift or crane; prior to unloading, the goods should be checked to confirm the goods is safe and free of damages or losses during transportation; it is recommended to transport the equipment to the installation site by means of the original package so as to prevent possible damage during transportation.

          Ⅲ Inspection & Acceptance
           
          Upon receipt of the equipment, the user shall check it immediately.

          3.1 Check each item given in the packing list for compliance with actual articles in respect of quantity.

          3.2 Check the product nameplate data for consistence with the order contract.

          3.3 Check the factory documents for completeness.

          3.4 Check the appearance of the product for bump or deformation and the interior electrical components and connections for any damage, loss and looseness.

          3.5 The product should be safekept or repacked properly if it is not to be put into service immediately after unpacking inspection is completed.

          Ⅳ Equipment Installation and Testing

          4.1 Equipment Installation

          The foundation, grounding system and cable duct should be prepared and incoming cables and outgoing cables and their protective pipes should be embedded before product installation. The product should be installed in accordance with relevant standards and specifications as well as the requirements of the equipment ventilation, cooling, installation and maintenance.

          Transport the equipment to the installation site with a forklift, remove the bolts securing the base, take the equipment out of the box carefully, and prevent damages to the shell when removing the package;

          This product can be installed in a dedicated foundation or concrete bench and should be placed horizontally. The product is secured onto the foundation with anchor bolts by passing through the bolt holes at the cabinet bottom. If the product is installed on the concrete foundation, it is recommended to adopt expansion bolts.

          4.2 Inspection and Test before Putting into Operation

          After the equipment is seated properly, open the front door of the cabinet, check the equipment and wiring in the cabinet, and note that all packaging materials must be removed from the box before power connection so as to avoid fire accident; check the insulators carefully for any damages, and contact the supplier immediately in case of damaged parts; check all electrical connection to confirm connection is secure and reliable; check whether all fixing bolts are tightened firmly.

          Test before putting into operation: Measure insulation resistance; carry out power frequency voltage withstand test with the voltage not more than 85% of delivery test voltage in accordance with specified standards; remount the front panel and be ready for putting the equipment into service.


          Ⅴ Product Maintenance

          This equipment has high reliability and generally can be maintained without power cutoff. It is recommended to carry out inspection and maintenance strictly according to the safe operation procedure while the bus is being inspected and maintained with power cutoff.

          Disconnect the equipment from the system;

          Open the cabinet door and directly check the box inside for any abnormality;

          Perform cleaning;

          Confirm the insulation performance with a megger;

          Check internal connection for reliability;

          Check the bolts for tightness.
